El Salvador, the first country to legalize the use of Bitcoin as a legal tender, announced the hosting of the first edition of the World Blockchain Festival that will take place in the capital San Salvador and will be held for 3 days from April 21st to 23rd.

The festival promises to serve as a venue for networking and making business relationships and it will include events like seminars on Bitcoin, blockchain technology, Decentralized Finance(DeFi), and other important aspects of the cryptocurrency sector – such as metaverse, NFTs, and gaming. Other interesting events will include workshops, an NFTs sale auction, and a hack fest centered on application development.
