eBay enters the NFT space as it announces the launch of its first-ever NFT collection. It will be launched in partnership with the web3 platform, OneOf, and will feature 3D and animated versions of many iconic athletes.

The NFTs are priced at $10 and they contain a 3D animation of Canadian hockey player Wayne Gretzky. The collection is supposed to include 13 limited-edition digital collectibles such as green, gold, platinum, and diamond-tier NFTs. It was launched on the Ethereum sidechain Polygon because Polygon, a layer-2 solution for Ethereum scaling, is known for its high frequency and low-value transactions.
